On May 30, the Academy of Science and Literature in Mainz hosted the “6th Medtech Rhineland-Palatinate”. Its motto was “Digital future for medical technology: a new ecosystem for innovation?!”.
The focus of the fair was mainly on the new developments in medical technology, for example, concerning further advancement in individual patient care. At the fair, universities, research institutes, established companies, as well as start-ups presented their projects and research work.
We represented A + Composites at our booth, establishing contacts with business members from the Rhineland-Palatinate medical industry, and getting in touch with influential politicians. At the presentation, we introduced our newest generation of braces, already being sold on the market. In addition, we introduced our latest development: Our adhesive tape for 3D-printed leg orthotics.
Even Mechthild Kern, the Deputy Head of Innovation and Technology at the Department of Economy, Transport, Agriculture and Viticulture visited our booth. Managing Director Markus Brzeski explained to her, among other things, how our reinforced polymer helps improve the wearing comfort of braces.
