Mechanical engineering students get to know A+ Composites

On June 15, 2022, six mechanical engineering students and two supervisors from the LLeibniz-Institut für Verbundwerkstoffe visited our company as part of a series of excursions.

During the almost one-hour visit, the students got to know A+ Composites and saw what can be produced or reinforced with UD-Tapes. In addition, the prospective engineers were able to put their knowledge of thermoplastic composite materials to the test in a small quiz conducted by our managing director Dr.-Ing. Markus Brzeski and learn how to determine some quality characteristics of a UD-Tape by simple means.

We were pleased about the visit and the interest of the students, wish them good luck in their studies and hope that they gained lasting impressions during this excursion. Many thanks also to the supervisors who help their students to gain valuable experience through such excursions.
